This guy is a total disgrace, the story goes like this.....

This guy is selling a permanent bypass on ebay, wants £110 for it, he has seen my info and took exception, so he is making false claims in his description, but it get's even better, he sent me a letter claiming he was from Renault head office,  based in Hertfordshire, but the letter had a stamp on it (surely it would be franked?), and was post marked Staffordshire, and he is from Stoke..laugh...but you should see the letter (attached) the spelling and the grammer is a joke, and it's on the cheapest paper going..laugh

This was my email reply to him:

When you send a fake letter claiming to be from a business based Hertfordshire, don't post it from the North West Midlands, i.e. Staffordshire, also, it's best to use good quality paper and if you can't manage that, to at least get the grammar and spelling correct, not to mention headers and footers.  I take it you have never had a letter from Renault that you could copy.

Another thing he fails to mention with this permanent bypass is this:

If this is carried out you will need to inform your insurers that the immobiliser has been bypassed. This will of course increase your premium until such time as a third party, certified Cat 2 has been installed (some may even cancel your insurance or refuse to renew). If you do not inform your insurer, it will void your insurance in the event of a claim for theft.

What a gimp! This is his website automotiveelectronics

He also uses the ebay user name automotiveelectronic, this is what he used to get my address, he asked if he could pay by postal order, you would have thought he would have waited more than 2 days to send the letter.

I've had replies to my emails to the person who is the subject of this thread, here they are, notice that the same spelling mistakes that appear in the "Renault" letter, also appear in his replies.

Try to do your homework next time, you stick to your business and I'll stick to mine, or maybe, just maybe I will contact Renault, and ask have they contacted me, and when they say no, I'll forward a copy of the letter along with the sender's address that impersonated their business, yes I know you conveniently left the sender label off, but you can't hide the tracking number.

His Reply:

Ok first of all  automotiveelectronic( 0 ) is in no way connected to us he is an ex employee that has set up against us he also sold these codes on eBay and was stopped by eBay and who else may be Renault. I personally could not give a dam if you sell these codes it in no way affects my business as my method is totally engineered my me and not nicked or in any way uses these Illegal code calculators. As far as using these codes permanently please ask Renault these will lock the ecu and course permanent damage I know I helped design the immobiliser with Renault a good many years ago. Ps please email automotiveelectronic( 0 ) not us with your issues thanks.

My Reply:

You know full well that is a blatant lie, as I've been starting my car for 2 months this way (now 4 months), also Renault will confirm there is no limit to the amount of times it can be entered.

His Reply:

If you ask me nicely I will give you his name and address, He as coursed me no end of trouble anyway. As far as the codes please ask a Renault technician thanks.

My Reply:

I have asked Renault, and like I said, I have used this code for two months (now 4 months)  to start my car, as the re sync doesn't work for me and I'm not a in a hurry to pay Renault.

I've attached the letter, you will see just how farcical it is.

His Reply:

I don't know if its real or not it looks official you will need to contact Renault and ask them. It is the sort of trick he would play, Anyway about the codes,  These are used for opening up the EPROM and putting the uch in learning mode every time you do it puts it in this state and constant use will corrupt the unit and inevitably lock it up.

My Reply:

I can not believe that you could think for one second that it is a genuine letter, the grammar and the spelling are a joke, and it's not even dated, it is typed on draft paper and there are no headers or footers, I have genuine letters from Renault, and I can assure you, that is not one.

I could point out all the errors in the letter for anyone reading this thread, but anyone with a semblance of inteligence can see them, and the same errors can be seen in his listing.

TBC I'm sure..laugh
